Overall introduction
Aldanet srl is a privately owned company and since 2006 active in the field of spare parts and attachments to off-highway equipment here on the Romanian market. Due to steady and dynamic growth, the company is quickly developing to a position of prominence in its field of activity, enjoying national coverage.
The company is mainly specialized in the trade with spare parts for construction, earthmoving and mining equipment, which represents about 70% of the turnover and to a lesser degree also with attachments and wear systems (about 30% of the turnover). For several machine makes such as Komatsu, Caterpillar, JCB, Case, Volvo and Liebherr we cover the whole range of parts. For other makes we only provide parts for the undercarriage, engine, drive train (transmission, driveshaft and axle). We also provide an extensive range of wear systems (teeth, blades, etc.) for any machine and application, whereas the attachments consist of hydraulic equipment for the construction field (such as demolition & recycling equipment, hammers, concrete mixer buckets, etc.) and road maintenance (sweeper buckets, graders, etc).
Company evolution and strategy
Aldanet srl is headquartered in Baia Mare, NW Romania and holds a total 300 m2 of office and 1200 m2 of warehouse space, respectively; it grew from 2 employees in 2006 to 17 in the present and over EUR 700.000 turnover for the fiscal year 2007, while the prediction for 2008 is in excess of EUR 5 million and over 25 employees. To this figure contributes greatly the implementation of an extensive network of regional salesmen, which will fully cover the national market by the year end; the market is divided in four regions plus Bucharest, as a region alone. Offices will open to coordinate the activity from, one in each respective region.
As part of the market strategy and positioning, in the foreseeable future Aldanet srl will focus on the promotion of quality brands from recognized and established manufacturers; some of them it will represent as official dealer for the Romanian market; as such, the company will build its image around these brands. This process is already unfolding and Aldanet is proud to represent and associate its name with brand names such as FP Diesel (Federal Mogul) - complete engine solutions, Carraro - drive trains (transmissions, axles, etc.), ITR (USCO) - undercarriage, Combi Wear Parts - patented wear systems or Idromeccanica Italiana - hydraulic hammers and compactors. Other strategic partnerships are in the making.
- FP Diesel (Federal Mogul): Aldanet has exclusive rights for the sales of FP Diesel brand solutions in the construction and off-highway applications. FP Diesel is the brand dedicated to repair packages and solutions for engines and is a global leader in the development and implementation of high technology components in heavy-duty engines. The portfolio for Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere and Komatsu engines was substantially increased; likewise, recently has been launched a new range of components for aspirated petrol engines used on Caterpillar, Cummins, Superior and Waukesha machines. Other FP Diesel innovations include the revolutionary Flat-Install™ front gasket for crankshafts. This gasket is designed to solve the inconvenience posted by the damaging of original gaskets when overhauling used engines. The new Flat-Install™ front gasket is also easier to mount during "in- or out-of-frame" repair operations.
- Carraro: global leader in the production of efficient and environmentally friendly power transmission systems for construction and agricultural machinery. The technology Carraro puts into its products integrates precision mechanics and high-end electronics towards mechatronics to deliver top of the range solutions; which recommends the Carraro axles, transmissions and the complete range of products, for that matter, as the number one choice for any application.
- Combi Wear Parts: global player and on of the few manufacturers that makes its own patented wear systems for the construction, mining and dredging sectors. All Combi Parts products are manufactured in Sweden from the best alloy steels, have excellent finishing and feature the best possible tolerance at the tooth-adaptor joint.
- Idromeccanica Italiana: Italian leader in the production of hydraulic breakers and compactors, the first manufacturer to attain the international quality management certificate of ISO 9001:2000 in Italy. All products are highly qualitative and incorporate the latest technologies that apply to them. The range of products and components covers all possible applications and suit excavators of all types and sizes.
- Trevi Benne: the Italian firm is an innovator in demolition and recycling technologies and attachments to machinery; it provides solutions that are customized for perfect functionality, while the products feature good reliability and long operational life.
- M3srl: the firm is an important Italian manufacturer of concrete mixing buckets, quick couplings, sweeper buckets, etc. All products are patented and incorporate high levels of technology and quality.
